Dr. Deeksha Pant graduated from BJ Medical College, Pune and completed her MS (Ophthalmology) from Mumbai University in 2008 and DNB from National Board in 2009. In 2009-2010, she completed a long-term fellowship in Cornea and Microsurgery at the Aravind Eye Hospital. Dr. Pant co-authored two papers on complicated fungal infections presented at the Boston Cornea Congress in 2010 and participated in the initial Indian study of the new antifungal drug Voriconazole. With over 13 years of experience after post-graduation, she has extensive expertise in handling complicated corneal infections and has performed numerous corneal transplant surgeries and ocular surface procedures.
