Most of the calcium stones are usually <strong>calcium oxalate<\/strong> where as some of the them are <strong>calcium phosphate.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"western\">Calcium stones are formed when your diet has <strong>oxalate rich foods<\/strong>. People who also have a <strong>high protein diet<\/strong> and have <strong>Gout<\/strong> are also in risk of uric acid stones. You can reduce the risk of Uric Acid Stones by<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>\r\n<p class=\"western\">Increasing the amount of fluid intake and their retention and<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>\r\n<p class=\"western\">Reducing purine rich food (fish, shellfish and meats) in diet.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2 class=\"western\"><strong>3.Struvite Stones<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n<p class=\"western\">People with <strong>chronic urinary tract infections (UTIs)<\/strong> have a risk developing this type of kidney stones. As a result of infection, kidney stones may form and grow very fast. Struvite Stones are often large and have branches.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"western\">Nearly 10% of the kidney stones are Struvite\/Infection stones. Women have a higher risk of Struvite stones than men.
